Annual summer business event attracts golf industry professionals for preview of Spring 2027 apparel and accessory collections, professional education and industry networking
FRISCO, Texas – The PGA Buying Summit returns to PGA Frisco July 26–29, bringing together PGA of America Golf Professionals, buyers, golf executives and nearly 200 leading and emerging golf brands for four days of early access to Spring 2027 collections, professional education and industry networking.
Held at Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa and PGA District, the Summit offers an immersive mid-season business experience where attendees discover what’s next in golf retail, gain valuable business insights and strengthen industry relationships through appointments, exhibits, education and shared peer experiences designed to keep business conversations moving from morning through evening.
“The PGA Buying Summit is designed for buyers to discover what’s next in golf retail, gain valuable insights to support their businesses and connect with colleagues, brands and industry leaders at a pivotal point in the buying cycle,” said Lisa Langas, PGA Shows Event Director. “Every part of the Summit—from product discovery to education to evening experiences like Summer Jam, the Fashion Show and the Summer Shootout—is intentionally designed to create meaningful connections, strengthen relationships and help drive business forward.”
Discovering What’s Next in Golf Retail
The PGA Buying Summit gives retailers and golf industry professionals an early look at Spring 2027 collections from nearly 200 established market leaders and emerging golf apparel, accessory, footwear and lifestyle brands at a pivotal point in the buying cycle.
As golf apparel continues to evolve toward lifestyle-inspired collections and faster merchandising cycles, retailers are making key assortment decisions earlier than ever. The Summit timing enables evaluation of new collections while product direction is still taking shape. Buyers can identify emerging trends and engage directly with brand leaders on assortment strategy, fit, fabrications and merchandising before final production decisions are made.
Business begins Monday, July 27, with private ONE2ONE buyer appointments before expanding into two days of open exhibits in sold-out ballroom spaces, creating an efficient environment for buyers to compare collections, strengthen existing partnerships and discover brands positioned to meet the changing expectations of today’s golf consumer. The diverse brand lineup reflects golf’s continued evolution, spanning established industry leaders alongside contemporary apparel labels and emerging golf lifestyle brands.
New for 2026, The Next Drop: Golf Style & Culture Experiences Presented by Gwop Meet showcases a select group of emerging apparel and golf lifestyle brands influencing the next generation of golf consumers. Curated in partnership with Troy Aguila of Gwop Meet, the program features dedicated exhibit space, a Tuesday afternoon buyer social and participation in Monday night’s Summer Jam Golf Festival, creating multiple opportunities for retailers to engage with the people and stories behind the brands.
Education That Powers Better Business Decisions
Professional education serves as a connective layer across the PGA Buying Summit experience, providing attendees with timely market intelligence and practical business insights that strengthen buying decisions and operational strategies, while encouraging vendor and peer conversations throughout the week.
Developed in partnership with the PGA of America and the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM), education begins Sunday, July 26, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. with a dedicated retail program exploring consumer behavior, merchandising strategies, retail trends and business growth opportunities before attendees connect with industry peers during the event’s Welcome Reception in the resort’s Lobby Bar.
Education continues Monday with a full day of expert-led sessions addressing retail operations, technology, business strategy and industry trends that complement assortment planning and in-season execution. Registered PGA of America Golf Professionals can earn Professional Development Requirement (PDR) credits by participating in education sessions and Summit events.
Two complimentary education sessions, presented by Player Development Index, are available Monday morning to all registered attendees, regardless of badge type, providing additional insights into player development and business strategy before the day’s programming begins.
Building Business Relationships Through Shared Experiences
Designed to complement the Summit’s business-focused programming, networking experiences create meaningful opportunities for buyers, brands and industry professionals to connect, exchange ideas and build relationships throughout the week.
Networking begins Sunday evening at the Welcome Reception in the Lobby Bar of the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, where attendees reconnect with colleagues and establish new relationships as the Summit gets underway.
Following a full day of ONE2ONE buyer appointments and education, conversations continue Monday evening at the Summer Jam Golf Festival in the PGA District. Bringing together Summit attendees and North Texas golf consumers, the complimentary event blends live entertainment, golf experiences and interactive activations—including the new Good Good Golf Capture the Flag competition—to create meaningful connections while providing valuable insight into the consumers, culture and experiences shaping today’s golf marketplace.
Tuesday’s ballroom collections discovery continues with The Next Drop Social, a new networking experience celebrating the independent brands, emerging ideas and cultural influences shaping the next generation of golf style. Bringing together brands, creators and industry professionals, the gathering provides an opportunity to meet founders, share perspectives and discover the trends influencing Spring 2027 apparel and lifestyle collections.
The evening continues with the annual PGA Buying Summit Fashion Show & Reception, showcasing Spring 2027 apparel collections from a select group of exhibiting brands. The runway presentation offers buyers and industry professionals a dynamic view of emerging trends, styling and product presentation, providing valuable perspective on how collections come to life. The reception, sponsored by RepSpark, creates another opportunity to discuss collections, exchange impressions and continue conversations that help inform upcoming buying decisions.
The Summit’s networking experiences continue with the return of the Summer Shootout, where buyers and exhibiting brands trade business attire for golf clubs on The Swing, PGA Frisco’s lighted 10-hole short course. The friendly team competition provides a final opportunity to build connections, celebrate the week and enjoy a shared golf experience before the final day of exhibits.
From education and Spring 2027 collection discovery to networking experiences and shared moments on the course, every element of the PGA Buying Summit is designed to strengthen relationships, inspire ideas and help drive the business of golf long after attendees return home. Registration remains open for qualified golf industry professionals. Additional event information, the complete exhibitor directory and registration details are available at PGABuyingSummit.com.
