FRISCO, Texas – The 2023 PGA Show, Jan. 24-27 in Orlando, will feature a new golf industry Career Zone where PGA Professionals, college students and second-career professionals can connect with employers right on the Show Floor. In addition to company recruiting activations, the Career Zone will host employer-led panel presentations and networking events.
Organized by the PGA of America and PGA Golf Exhibitions, the 70th PGA Show will bring together thousands of PGA Professionals, golf leaders, industry executives and retailers from around the world who will source new products from nearly 800 golf and golf lifestyle brands, attend high-level industry presentations, participate in education and career workshops, and also connect in person with peers and golf leaders to drive continued growth of the sport and the business of golf. The PGA Show begins on Jan. 24 with the PGA Show Demo & Fitting Day at Orange County National Golf Center and moves to the Orange County Convention Center, Jan. 25-27, for exhibits and a full schedule of industry events. New Career Zone at the 2023 PGA Show
The new Career Zone at the PGA Show will be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 25-26, and is co-located with the PGA Golf Management University Pavilion at Show Floor location #3577. Leading golf industry companies will be featured each day and will share information about their businesses while recruiting for open positions with job seekers at all career levels.
Participating Companies
Currently, the following companies will participate in the Career Zone as recruiting employers: Acushnet, NBC Sports, NGSA (National Golf Sales Association), PGA of America, Troon and USGA. Additional participating employers will be regularly updated at PGAShow.com.
Employer-Led Panel Discussions
PGA Career Services will moderate panel discussions with varying employers on Jan. 25 and Jan. 26. The “Where Should I Start My Golf Career” panel will be held each day from 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. ET and “Work Life Balance” will be held each day from 3 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. ET.
Networking and the Career Zone Passport Program
PGA Professionals, college students and second-career professionals can network with potential employers as part of the Career Zone Passport Program and will be entered into a drawing for prizes awarded daily at 4 p.m. during an informal employer-professional reception.
