2024 Chubb Classic Set for Feb. 15-18 at Tiburon Golf Club
NAPLES, Fla., –The 2023 Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO celebrated several milestones and record-breaking moments as the PGA TOUR Champions’ flagship event in the greater Naples community:
- The 2023 tournament marked Chubb’s 25th year as title sponsor, making it the longest-running continuous title sponsor on the PGA TOUR Champions schedule.
- The 2023 tournament was the 36th year of the championship, continuing its run as the longest-running PGA TOUR Champions event to take place in the same metropolitan area.
- Bernhard Langer captured his 45th PGA TOUR Champions win at the Chubb Classic in 2023 – his second consecutive Chubb Classic and fifth overall, tying Hale Irwin’s record for the most all-time victories on PGA TOUR Champions.
As a result of these milestones, as well as the elevated fan, player and sponsor experiences throughout tournament week, the 2023 Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO was the recipient of the PGA TOUR Champions Outstanding Achievement Award, presented annually to one PGA TOUR Champions event. The award was announced in December at the PGA TOUR annual meetings in Palm Springs, Calif.

Outlyr, owner and operator of the Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO, also announced today that Diamond has been promoted to senior vice president, and Ryan Dever to senior director. Diamond, a longtime PGA TOUR business development, marketing and sponsorships executive who most recently was chief development officer of The First Tee of Metropolitan New Year, joined Outlyr as vice president, executive director in 2021 and is a full-time resident in Naples. Dever, tournament manager for the Chubb Classic, oversees a portfolio of events at Outlyr across the LPGA Tour and PGA TOUR Champions.

The 2024 Chubb Classic presented by SERVPRO is set to return for its 37th year as Naples’ flagship PGA TOUR Champions event at Tiburón Golf Club’s Black Course. Legends of the game, World Golf Hall of Famers and major champions headline the 78-player field competing in the 54-hole championship Friday-Sunday, Feb. 16-18 for a share of the $1.8 million purse.
Since 1988, the Chubb Classic has donated nearly $3.3 million to local and national charities, including First Tee, which helps young people build strength of character that empowers them to overcome challenges both on and off the golf course.

A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to local charities throughout Southwest Florida. The Chubb Classic has proudly supported more than 30 charitable organizations since the tournament’s inception in 1988.
Tiburón Golf Club, managed by Troon, is the only facility to host a PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions and LPGA Tour event in the same calendar year, features two 18-hole Championship golf courses, The Gold and The Black. The Black Course, which opened in 2001, has a very distinctive look with its pine straw-lined fairways, crushed coquina waste areas and undulating greens nestled amidst acres of pine trees and native Florida foliage. The Black Course is designated as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International to protect and enhance its natural surroundings.
