STAMFORD, Conn. – NBC Sports presents live coverage of the PGA TOUR Mexico Open at Vidanta – the first of seven consecutive PGA TOUR events airing on NBC through early April – headlining this week’s live golf coverage across NBC, GOLF Channel and Peacock.
PGA TOUR: MEXICO OPEN AT VIDANTA
Defending champion Tony Finau headlines the field this week at the Mexico Open at Vidanta, which has also been part of the Korn Ferry Tour, European Challenge Tour and PGA TOUR LatinoAmerica since its first playing in 1944. Since becoming a PGA TOUR event in 2022, Tony Finau has won and finished as runner-up in 2022.
Jim “Bones” Mackay will join NBC Sports’ coverage of the Mexico Open at Vidanta, serving as an on-course reporter on Thursday before joining a three-man booth along with Dan Hicks and Brad Faxon for the remainder of the event. Mackay currently caddies for Justin Thomas and is available to serve as analyst this week as Thomas is not competing in this week’s event.
Live tournament coverage begins Thursday-Friday at 4 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock. Weekend coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET on GOLF Channel and Peacock, shifting to NBC at 3 p.m. ET.

The LPGA Tour travels to Asia for the Honda LPGA Thailand at Siam Country Club in Thailand, the first of three straight events to be held in Asia followed by the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore (Feb. 29-March 3) and the Blue Bay LPGA in China (March 7-10).
Current World No. 1 player Lilia Vu won last year’s event, the first LPGA Tour win of her career which kicked off her Rolex Player of the Year season which included a pair of major victories at the Chevron Championship and the AIG Women’s Open.
