PHOENIX – Three new professionals signed multi-year equipment contracts with PING, company President John K. Solheim announced today. Cole Hammer, Logan McAllister, and RJ Manke were college standouts who earned Korn Ferry Tour status for the rest of the season by finishing in the top 5 of this year’s PGA Tour U.

“Our college program continues to identify and build relationships with some of the top young players in the game,” Solheim said. “To have three of the top 5 from the 2022 PGA Tour U class is a testament to that commitment. Cole, Logan and RJ all had exceptional records throughout their college careers and are ready to take the next step into the professional game. We’re excited to be aligned with these talented players and look forward to supporting them as they transition to the pro ranks.”

Cole Hammer

All-Big 12 Team as a senior at the University of Texas, Hammer helped lead the Longhorns to the 2022 NCAA Division I team championship. Last year he was medalist at the Big 12 Conference Championship, his fourth individual collegiate title, to go with three key amateur achievements. In 2019 the Houston native won the Mark H. McCormack Medal, awarded to the world’s top-ranked amateur. He has played on two winning Walker Cup teams. As a teen phenom, Hammer was only 15 when he made his major championship debut at the U.S. Open in 2015.

Logan McAllister

The Oklahoma City native had four wins (second most in school history) during four years at the University of Oklahoma, the Big 12 Conference champs this year. As a senior, he was first team PING All-America and All-Big 12 first team. His career average of 4.01 birdies per round and his career scoring average were both #1 in Sooner history. One of three Sooners ever to win an event in three different seasons.

RJ Manke

As a fifth-year senior transfer for his home state University of Washington Huskies, Manke was the Pac-12 men’s Golfer of the Year, he earned PING All-America first-team honors, and was a finalist for the Fred Haskins Player of the Year award, notching two victories and four second-place finishes. Before transferring to UW, he played four seasons at Pepperdine University, earning two wins for the Waves.
