Relationship Will Focus On Improving Quality Of Greens On Golf Courses Worldwide.
NEW YORK– Pitchfix, the global leader in the design and production of premier divot repair tools and golf accessories, announced a three-year partnership with the Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG). The agreement will feature the #Caringforcourses educational campaign to promote the maintenance and enhancement of putting surfaces.
PGA Professionals have a responsibility to ensure that golfers uphold the standards and etiquette of the game. The #Caringforcourses campaign provides them with resources and information to drive awareness to all levels of golfers to ensure they have a positive impact on the conditioning of courses they play.
“We’re excited to partner with the CPG and continue to build awareness for our products and the vital role that they play in maintaining the exceptional quality of the courses they play,” said Pitchfix CEO Bart Fokke. “As golfers we all value amazing course conditions but at the same time we have a responsibility to help preserve them too.”
To reinforce the importance of the maintenance and enhancement of putting surfaces the #Caringforcourses campaign will feature advertising, extensive social media messaging, video tutorials and more. In addition, to assist PGA professionals in creating awareness for #Caringforcourses, they will receive a variety of resources including a general information booklet, course poster and a program guidance brochure.
The objective is to ensure that every player owns a ball mark repair tool, knows how to repair their own ball marks correctly and are motivated by the benefits of seeking and repairing their ball marks and others.
“We are delighted to welcome Pitchfix into our family of business partners and embarking on this new campaign together,” said Ian Randell, Chief Executive of the CPG. “Our aim with this campaign is to work with our Member Country PGA’s and their PGA Professionals to promote the responsibility that we all have to both the course and our fellow golfers as we play.”
