Acclaimed Abu Dhabi venue becomes first in the region to adopt PLATFORM Golf’s immersive performance technology, redefining the future of golf training and simulation
Yas Links Abu Dhabi will be home to the first PLATFORM Golf units in the Middle East with the installation of three game-changing platforms in the new state-of-the-art academy.
The Kyle Phillips-designed course, considered among the finest in the region, is celebrated for its elite coaching and instruction—now further enhanced by PLATFORM Golf’s groundbreaking technology.
With the ability to integrate with any major golf simulator technology, each platform adds new depths of realism to the virtual experience by allowing players to make a putt on a real tilting green and practice shots from uneven lies, closing the gap between on and off-course golf.
The trio of PLATFORM Golf units are part of a major upgrade to the Viya Golf Performance Institute at Yas Links Abu Dhabi to elevate the coaching and player experience, which also features integrated Swing Catalyst pressure plates measuring balance and movement during the swing, giving coaches and players access to real-time performance data. Each studio is equipped with best-in-class training tools including Trackman launch monitors, Swing Catalyst systems, video analysis technology, and full simulator capability – enabling both serious coaching and engaging practice experiences.
