Most large business conferences and trade shows have been canceled for the summer. Fall gatherings are still very much in flux as well, and 2021 events are fully engaged in health and safety reviews and contingency planning.
While it’s really too early to tell what the 20201 PGA Show might look like, early signs from other industry meetings that are coming back online and a new digital show content initiative from the PGA Show hints at what the future of business conferencing might look like.
To look closer at this issue, we are delighted to host Marc Simon of Reed Exhibitions on episode seven of the Golf Industry Roundtable.
We discuss the PGA Golf Exhibitions recent launch of PGA Show Connects, a year-round, interactive virtual community designed to engage PGA Show attendees and exhibitors by offering live and on-demand access to premium golf industry content, digital business sourcing and professional networking programs. The initiative includes the release of a twice-monthly webinar series beginning July 28, and an extensive PGA Show Connects Virtual Summit on Aug. 18.
The PGA Show Connects platform will offer industry access to:
- Educational Webinars – Live and on-demand webinars featuring direct connections to expert presenters and live polling and analytics.
- Exhibitor Marketplace & Appointment Scheduler – Engaging content platform for exhibitors and brands to tell their story and foster direct connections between supplier and buyers.
