Power Tee Joins the Tesori Family Foundation

Former PGA TOUR player and current PGA TOUR caddie for Webb Simpson, Paul Tesori along with his wife, Michelle, founded the Tesori Family Foundation in 2009 with a mission to achieve great things through God by lending a helping hand, providing hope and healing hearts for children.

Having always been committed to giving back, the Tesoris started their foundation by selecting several charities to support, with focuses ranging from childhood homelessness to battered women’s shelters, from children battling disease like cancer to animal rescue charities like the Jacksonville Humane Society. Shortly after their son Isaiah was born sporting his extra special chromosome (more commonly referred to in the medical community as Down syndrome), the Tesoris expanded the foundation’s programming adding specific programs like Buddy Baskets and the All-Star Kids Clinic to support the Down syndrome community and other children with special needs.

To celebrate having both Ryder Cup Captains endorse Power Tee and celebrate the 2018 Ryder Cup Venue, Le Golf National, offering Power Tee to their members, Power Tee decided to join with the Tesori Family Foundation to raise some money for their causes in the Northeast Florida area.

This time, it all started with a tweet from a Twitter follower, Wesley Whamond, that committed a $20.18 donation to the foundation for every point Webb Simpson scored at the Ryder Cup. Power Tee jumped at the amazing opportunity to match and add $1 for every re-tweet using #PowerTeeTesori to help this foundation. Many others also joined and matched Whamond’s donation along with Power Tee. The overall goal of the match was to help raise money for the foundation but also create more awareness and get people talking about the foundation.

In the end, Simpson earned 2 points and after shares on Facebook and re-tweets from Twitter followers (and a little rounding up), Power Tee was able to raise $100 for the foundation.

But it doesn’t end here, to find out more information about the Tesori Family Foundation, and ways to get involved, visit their website, tesorifamilyfoundation.org
