Famed instructor, adaptive golfers to provide education, demonstration at Power Tee Booth and Demo Day
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL – Power Tee, innovators in technology that drives game improvement, golfer engagement and practice facility revenues, will be exhibiting their breakthrough practice stations (powered by the industry’s leading automatic teeing system) at the golf industry’s largest business event, the 71st annual PGA Merchandise Show at Orlando, Florida’s Orange County Convention Center, Jan. 23 – 26. An appearance by Hall of Fame golf instructor Rick Smith on Thursday, January 25, from 4 to 6 pm, will highlight Power Tee’s week of activities and attractions at ETC Stand #13.
Power Tee founder and CEO Martin Wyeth and the Power Tee sales team will be showcasing the brand’s popular Power Tee Premier unit which takes Power Tee’s breakthrough automatic teeing practice stations – with 40 different tee-height options to ensure perfect lies and turf interaction on every shot – and adds custom decking, lighting and a proprietary design that accommodates fast and efficient installation at public and private golf courses, driving ranges and golf entertainment complexes.
Along with the Rick Smith appearance, Power Tee will also be partnering at the Tuesday, January 23 PGA Demo Day with one-handed adaptive golfer Gianna Rojas, founder of AdaptiveGolfers.org, as she demonstrates her talents and shares her story on Tee #4 of the range at Orange Country National Golf Club. Rojas has invited other adaptive golfers, young and old, to join her for exhibitions, interviews and meet and greets.
“Our Power Tee team is excited to get back to Orlando among the golf course and practice facility owners and operators who can greatly benefit from the revenue-driving power and aesthetic upgrades a Power Tee installation brings,” Wyeth says. “Once someone hits off of Power Tee and sees the elegance of the design, they’re convinced it’s the most fun and efficient way to practice. With no-cost trials for qualified clients, Power Tee is the biggest no-brainer investment in the golf industry. Come see us ETC Stand #13 and see the magic of Power Tee for yourself.”
Power Tee is now helping a fast-growing number of driving range and golf course owners enjoy increased revenues and improved range infrastructure from Power Tee hitting bays versus traditional grass or mat bays. The reason is simple. Power Tee users get into a groove more easily, improve faster, hit more balls per practice session and spend more time at Power Tee stations. In turn, driving range, food-and-beverage and retail sales increase at these properties. The user experience also enables more consistent swings and the ability to find a productive practice groove more quickly during each range session.
In addition to famed instructor Rick Smith, Power Tee is endorsed by 2003 U.S. Open champion Jim Furyk, 2018 Team Europe Ryder Cup Captain Thomas Bjorn, and elite golf instructor Mitchell Spearman. Power Tee is installed at more than 400 ranges and clubs across 18 countries and more than 6 million golf balls are now teed up daily on a Power Tee.
SET UP A POWER TEE MEETING
The Power Tee team will be available for meetings on the PGA Merchandise Show Floor at ETC Stand #13 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Jan. 24 – 26) of PGA Show week. The team will also be at Tee #4 at the PGA Show’s January 23rd Demo Day. Power Tee partner Gianna Rojas, founder of the Adaptive Golfers organization, makes inspiring, effective golf swings with one arm. She’s energetic, thoughtful, and looking forward to engaging with Demo Day attendees (Jan. 23) at Tee #4.
