PRIDESPORTS’ REPLACEABLE SPIKES USED BY WINNERS AT WGC FEDEX ST. JUDE INVITATIONAL AND UTAH CHAMPIONSHIP

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.– The MacNeill Pride Group confirms the winners of PGA Tour’s WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational and Korn Ferry Tour’s Utah Championship both relied on the company’s replaceable cleat solutions.

Capturing his first PGA Tour title, the 30-year-old Mexican winner of the WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational relied on a unique combination of the Pulsar® from SoftSpikes® and ProStinger from CHAMP® in his FootJoy Premier shoes. He was among 29 of the top-33 finishers who chose replaceable spikes over spikeless options.

On the Korn Ferry Tour, the winner of the Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank also trusted the Pulsar® from SoftSpikes® in his FootJoy Premier shoes.  Pulsar® recently received a Golf Digest Editor’s Choice Award in the “Best Cleats” category, as it delivers maximum comfort and performance via a unique 16 component design that reacts to every angle of force exerted by a golfer.

“Both of these young players know that our spikes provide the stable and consistent connection with the ground that is essential in helping them maximize distance and accuracy,” said John Hohman, senior vice president of marketing for PrideSports/MacNeill-Pride Group.

Replacement Softspikes® and CHAMP® cleats can be purchased in the golf section of most large retailers, sporting goods stores, golf specialty and golf course pro shops across the country. Cleats can also be purchased online from any of these locations, your favorite online store or directly from www.golfspikes.com.

PrideSports is the undisputed leader in the golf cleat segment with its CHAMP® and Softspikes® brands. The company recommends golfers change their cleats every six to eight months – or even more frequently based on use – to ensure golfers get the maximum performance out of their footwear.

CHAMP’s Helix®, Zarma Tour® and Stinger® cleats, as well as Softspikes’ Pivix®, Pulsar®, Silver Tornado™ and Stealth® cleats, dominate the OEM and secondary market in terms of performance and sales. More information can be found at www.champspikes.com and www.Softspikes.com.
