HEATHROW, FL – Three days of stimulating, fulfilling group activities await the 50-plus dedicated, full-time instructors who will gather for this year’s Proponent Group Summit. The event has a full agenda of presentations and breakout sessions plus a demo day with 20 companies on-site showing products designed to help golf coaches help their students improve. Dates are October 28-30 and the setting will be the ballroom and driving range of Heathrow (Fla.) Country Club near Orlando.
Featured speakers include 2024 PGA National Teacher of the Year Joe Hallett, sharing expertise on how to teach speed control in putting; Top coach and corporate consultant Iain Highfield on business management concepts unique to the golf coach; Dr. Luke Benoit, one of the game’s hottest young coaches, on how to make a swing change “stick” and last; also, Preston McClellan, Managing Partner for Golf Space Collective, discussing email marketing strategies that stoke golfer demand and build businesses.
A “bonus” session on arrival day is devoted to “Live Lessons,” with six of the game’s most talented teachers – Cheryl Anderson, Mike Bender, Dr. Luke Benoit, Preston Combs, Bill Davis and Monique Thoresz – working with live students and tackling six different classic coaching challenges. In keeping with the trend toward indoor learning, Proponent Group has arranged for a Dryvebox mobile sim unit to be on hand and open for touring by Summit-goers.
Attendees will be able to get their questions answered in small group roundtables with the top experts in performance training, marketing, management and coaching’s business value.
