HEATHROW, FL – A full schedule of educational presentations for golf coaches at the upcoming PGA Show was announced this week by Proponent Group and Golf Genius, continuing a partnership begun last year. The two companies will share space in Room W304A on the mezzanine level of the Orange County Convention Center, with seating to accommodate up to 80 attendees.
As the PGA of America’s annual trade show continues its growing emphasis on seminars and educational forums, Proponent Group has taken a lead role in providing cutting-edge information for golf professionals who specialize in teaching and coaching.
“A Coaches’ Guide to 3D Ground Reaction Forces,” with Dr. Tyler Standifird and Jason Zuback of Smart2Move, is an example of the technology-driven subject matter on the agenda. Likewise with “The Digital Coaching Blueprint,” featuring the resoundingly successful online coach, Kerrod Gray. Also available—free of charge and with no pre-registration requirement—is a session with instructor Ben Addoms titled “GPS and Auto-shot Tracking: The Future of Data-Informed Coaching.”
Golf coaches in attendance will have a chance to hear updates from Golf Genius on a product line that’s been in development for several years and has now come to market in completed form.
