Charleston, S.C. — To raise awareness and promote preparedness among golf course owners and operators, the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) Golf Business Conference 2025 will include an education session related to golf course cyber security. On Tuesday, January 21 in Orlando, FL, NGCOA researcher and Golf Business magazine contributor Harvey Silverman, along with cyber security expert and CEO of Cino Security Solutions Joe Saracino, will present Cyber Risk And Data Protection — Shield Your Golf Business From Greens To Screens.
“Business owners have valuable data, and cybercriminals want it,” said Silverman. “No business is too small to be a target, so this session will cover the imminent dangers, the ever-evolving cyber hacking threats, and how to protect the business and its employee and customer data from a hacking disaster.”
Golf Business Conference, hosted by the NGCOA, is the industry’s largest annual gathering of golf course owners, operators, general managers and others who run golf course businesses. Golf Business Conference 2025 (GBC25) will be held from January 20-22 in Orlando, Florida, co-located with the 2025 PGA Show.
GBC25 education sessions are eligible for continuing education units (CEUs) for Professional Golfers Association (PGA), Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Club Management Association of America (CMAA), and Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).
Golf course owners and operators save $100 when registering for GBC25 by December 31; registration, the full education agenda, a list of speakers and sponsors, and more can be found at golfbusinessconference.com. Sponsorship opportunities are also available; suppliers can contact partnerships@ngcoa.org for details.
