This past weekend, the LPGA Tour hosted its Shoprite LPGA Classic, held at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club – Bay Course in Galloway, New Jersey. Celine Boutier had a strong finish with a Sunday round of 63, which included just 28 putts. Celine came out one stroke ahead of two major winners, Jin Young Ko and Inbee Park, to win her second LPGA Tour tournament, and her first on U.S. soil.
On the European Tour, Danny Willett won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which was held at the famous Olde Course at St. Andrews, in St. Andrews, Scotland. Danny, who’s birthday was on Sunday, shot a -4, 68 to win the tournament by two strokes, marking his first professional win since 2019.
The PGA Tour hosted the Sanderson Farms Championship, held at the Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. Mississippi native Hayden Buckley, who is a rookie this year on the PGA Tour, shot all four rounds under-par, including a career low Friday round of -7, 65, to finish at -20 on Sunday and place T3.
