Congratulations to the European team for their exciting win at the Solheim Cup last weekend, and to the classy job by captains Catriona Matthew and Julie Inkster. The sportsmanship displayed by both teams sets a great example for golf fans around the world.
An extremely high level golf was played under very difficult conditions before a knowledgeable and respectful gallery of European and American spectators. It was fun to hear the noise and singing before each shot and then be able to hear a pin drop as the player was hitting, no matter if she were European or American!
Of the 26 contestants and captains, at least half are known past or present Putting Arc users.
