This last weekend, the LPGA Tour hosted the Cambia Portland Classic at Columbia Edgewater Macan Course in Portland, Oregon. Jin Young Ko had a very impressive first two rounds of 69-67, with only 48 putts in the first two rounds combined. After a final round of 69, Jin Young finished four strokes ahead of the field at -11 to win her 9th LPGA Tour win in 4 years. She was #1 in the world for two years and is still currently #2.
On the PGA Tour, Max Homa was able to get his third professional win, and second win in 18 starts at the Fortinet Championship, held at Silverado Resort and Spa – North Course in Napa, CA. Going into Sunday, Max was two shots back and shot a final round of -7, 65 to win by one stroke.
Also, the Symetra Tour hosted the Guardian Championship, held at Capitol Hill Golf Club in Prattville, AL. The tournament was shortened to 36-holes instead of its usual 54 due to inclement weather, and Alabama native Janie Jackson took advantage, shooting -6, 66 for both rounds to win by four strokes. This is Janie’s second Symetra Tour win.
