Congratulations to Joe Durant for his win at the Ally Challenge at Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc, MI. It was his fourth Champions Tour win and his first in three years.
Joe was one of the first 100 touring pros to use a Putting Arc on a list of now over 1600, and he recently got some putting tips from Brad Faxon, one of the greatest putters ever.
13 of the top 14 finishers at the Ally Challenge are present or past Putting Arc users.
Congratulations also to Bryson DeChambeau for his T1, second place finish at the BMW Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, MD. He came out on the short end of one of the most exciting and well-played playoffs in the history of televised golf.
His putting stroke is a perfect example of the putting stroke you will learn with the Putting Arc. Even though he has a longer putter and a more upright swing plane, it is still an on-plane stroke with a one-piece rotation about the spinal pivot point. Only the winner, “Patty Ice” putted better for the tournament. He set the all-time Shot Link record for strokes gained putting, in securing his 6-hole playoff victory.
Finally, Congratulations to Rose Zhang and her Curtis Cup team members for their come-from-behind win in Wales. Rose was the leading point scorer with 4 1/2 points out of a possible 5.
She is the #1 ranked Women’s Amateur in the world and is the student of a very proud George Pinnell in California. Way to go, Rose!
