Final-round 6-under-par 64 solidifies second AJGA Invitational win
Belleair, Florida — Luke Ringkamp of Palm Desert, California, closed with a 6-under-par 64 to win the Team TaylorMade Invitational at Pelican Golf Club at 13-under-par 197. Ringkamp used the low round among the leaders on Sunday to separate from the field and secure the victory.
With temperatures in the mid 90s, players faced ideal conditions but tough greens as they navigated around the par 70 Pelican Golf Club. Course conditions provided more of a challenge during the final round as 18 players shot under par.
This is the sixth playing of the Team TaylorMade Invitational and features some of the most talented junior golfers in the world. The event is supported annually by AJGA Global Partner TaylorMade Golf and is hosted at premier venues throughout the country.
Ringkamp opened the tournament with a 5-under-par 65 to sit near the top after the first round. He followed with a 2-under-par 68 in the second round to remain in contention. Entering the final round within striking distance, he made his move with a 6-under-par 64, using a steady round to take control late and close out the tournament.
His consistent play across all three rounds proved to be the difference, finishing at 13-under-par 197 to earn the championship and hold off a group of players who remained within reach throughout the final day. He entered the day five back of the lead but got off to a hot start with a birdie on No. 1. He would end up giving one back with a bogey on the par 4 No. 4. He quickly rebounded with birdies on No. 7 and 8 before closing out the back nine with four more birdies.
Ringkamp came into the tournament at No. 4 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. The Pepperdine commit is a 2026 grad and was named a 2025 Rolex Junior All-American. He has one previous AJGA Invitational win which came at the 2025 Rolex Tournament of Champions.
Finishing in second place at 10-under-par 200 was Bodie Brumlow of Cartersville, Georgia, who led through the first two rounds after opening with a record-breaking 9-under-par 61, the lowest score ever recorded at an AJGA Invitational, but was unable to match Ringkamp’s pace on Sunday after a final-round 2-over-par 72.
Brumlow, the 2027 grad, is No. 94 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. He is playing in just his third AJGA tournament with the previous two being top-5 finishes in 2025. He has also built a strong resume through SCJGA, SJGT and GAPGA tournaments. He is planning to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2027.
In third place at 8-under-par 202 is Giuseppe Puebla of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, who followed a second-round 7-under-par 63 with a final-round 1-under-par 69 to remain inside the top three.
At No. 2 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Puebla is the highest-ranked player in the top 3. The 2027 grad was named a Rolex Junior All-American in 2025. The Florida commit is coming off a T5 finish at the AJGA Simplify Boys Championship at Carlton Woods in February.
A tie for fourth at 7-under-par 203 includes Landon Ashcraft of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Miles Russell of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, each posting under-par rounds to stay near the top of the leaderboard.
Ryan Nana Tanke of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, finished sixth at 5-under-par 205 after an opening-round 63 placed him near the lead early in the tournament.
A group tied for seventh at 4-under-par 206 includes Jessy Huebner of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Leo McDonough of Lafayette, California, Jaden Soong of Los Angeles, California, and Zude Xu of Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Cameron Kuchar of St. Simons Island, Georgia, finished tied for 11th at 3-under-par 207.
