Rio Verde, Ariz. – Rio Verde Country Club in Rio Verde, Ariz. recently welcomed Anthony Paino as the club’s new general manager. As general manager, Paino will oversee golf operations, food & beverage, agronomy, sales and marketing and maintenance operations for the 36-hole club located just east of Scottsdale.
Paino has more than 13-plus years of private club management, marketing and operations experience and most recently served as general manager at Fairwood Golf & Country Club, a Troon Privé-managed club located 19 miles southeast of downtown Seattle in Renton, Washington. Prior to Fairwood, Paino was the general manager of The Columbia Tower Club in Seattle. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, Paino was the clubhouse manager at The Argyle Club in Silver Spring, Maryland. He began his professional career in the early 2000s in state politics, working closely with the governor of Vermont, while running for state senate and representative offices.

A graduate of Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, Paino has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with dual minors in philosophy and history.
