Royal Blue Golf Club At Baha Mar Offers New Stay & Play Golf Package During The 2019 Hero World Challenge
NASSAU, Bahamas — Royal Blue Golf Club at Baha Mar Resort has created an exclusive Stay & Play golf package during the 2019 Hero World Challenge. Guests are invited to experience the best of The Bahamas with luxurious amenities at the Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar and premier golf at Royal Blue Golf Club – in addition to witnessing the best field in golf at the Hero World Challenge.
“Every year we are delighted to host golf fans from around the world who come to The Bahamas,” said Sean Cracraft, Director of Golf at Royal Blue Golf Club. “It only made sense to include tickets to the Hero World Challenge in 2019 to create one of the most complete Stay & Play packages I’ve ever seen.”
This year’s special package includes a grounds ticket good for any one day at the 2019 Hero World Challenge, overnight accommodations at the Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar Resort and Casino, and one round of golf at Royal Blue Golf Club. It is available for booking dates between November 25 and December 5, 2019, on the Grand Hyatt website by inputting the promo code HERO19. After purchase, rounds of golf can be booked by contacting RoyalBlue@bahamar.com. The package includes the same number one-day grounds tickets as total people in the reservation, as well as round trip transportation daily from Baha Mar to Albany during the tournament.
In its fifth year at Albany on the island of New Providence, the Hero World Challenge annually features 18 of the top golfers in the world. This year’s tournament will begin Wednesday December 4, 2019, with the final round set for Saturday, December 7. Attracting the best in golf, business and philanthropy, the Hero World Challenge is a driving force of philanthropic support for the TGR Foundation in addition to the ONE Bahamas Fund in 2019.
The award-winning Baha Mar Resort and Casino is a $4.2 billion luxury beachfront resort development, sitting on 1,000 acres on the island of New Providence. Located minutes away from Albany, amenities include three hotels: Grand Hyatt, SLS and Rosewood with a total of 2,200 rooms and 284 private residences; a 100,000-square-foot casino and a 30,000-square-foot spa.
The first Jack Nicklaus Signature Design in Nassau, Royal Blue Golf Club measures 7,189-yards from the tips, and plays to a par of 72. It offers its golfers several elevation changes with scenic vistas throughout the round. The front nine features dramatic views of undulating fairways, rolling white sand dunes, brackish ponds and glimpses of a turquoise Atlantic Ocean. On the back nine however, players will navigate stunning limestone “moonscapes,” through dense jungle and steeply downhill to the island green on the 16th hole, which borders Lake Cunningham for a stunning Signature Hole.
Catering to international travelers, the “Better Than Your Own” rental club program at Royal Blue is a one of a kind experience, featuring the latest golf equipment from Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, PXG, Itobori and the latest Cobra ONE Length clubs made popular by PGA TOUR star Bryson DeChambeau. Before guests tee off, a member of the Golf Professional Team will offer a club fitting on the practice range, assisting in identifying the perfect equipment match – and completing the first step to an unforgettable round of golf.
