Annual charity golf tournament, hosted by dealerships across Greater Sacramento, and managed by Castle Communications, Supports the Northern California PGA Foundation’s military pillar, PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America
The Northern California PGA Foundation has announced that the 2019 Greater Sacramento New Car Dealers Association Golf Tournament generated $40,000 for PGA HOPE golf programming for Veterans. The annual charity golf tournament, hosted by new car dealerships across Greater Sacramento, and managed by Castle Communications, took place on May 20th at North Ridge Country Club in Fair Oaks, CA.
This year, the Greater Sacramento New Car Dealers Association Golf Tournament chose to benefit the NCPGA Foundation’s military pillar, PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. In collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs, PGA HOPE introduces golf to Veterans with disabilities to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. Golf sessions are offered at NO cost to Veterans by Northern California PGA Professionals. Today, learning and playing the game of golf is a proven activity that has helped thousands of military Veterans assimilate back into their community through the social interaction the game of golf provides.
“We were thrilled to learn that the Greater Sacramento New Car Dealers Association selected PGA HOPE as the beneficiary of their annual charity golf tournament,” said Nancy Maul, Executive Director, Northern California PGA Foundation. “Thanks to the Association, their new car dealers across Sacramento and their partner Castle Communications, we can continue to grow our impact on the lives of military Veterans in the greater Sacramento area through PGA HOPE.”
“The Greater Sacramento New Car Dealers Association was proud to be able to support such an amazing organization as PGA HOPE,” said Rod Collins, president of the organization.
