Memphis, TN — The Sapphire Golf Tour today announced its highly anticipated 2026 season, unveiling a six‑city schedule that reflects the tour’s rapid growth, cultural momentum, and unwavering commitment to elevating minority women in golf. This year’s tour blends elite competition, community engagement, and cultural celebration, positioning Sapphire as one of the most dynamic and purpose‑driven platforms in modern sports.
Tour Commissioner Tarek DeLavallade emphasized the significance of the upcoming season, noting that the tour’s expansion represents far more than geographic growth. “This season is the spark of something bigger than golf,” DeLavallade said. “Sapphire is a platform, a pipeline, and a promise — a promise that access, equity, and excellence can coexist at the highest level. The excitement surrounding 2026 is electric, and we’re just getting started.”
The 2026 schedule includes six major stops:
- Memphis, TN — Links at Pine Hill (MLK Hope Weekend)| April 11–12, 2026
- Denver, CO — CommonGround Golf Course | May 30–31, 2026
- New Orleans, LA — Bartholomew Golf Course (Essence Festival Weekend) | July 2–3, 2026
- Chicago, IL — Harborside Golf Course (WNBA All‑Star Weekend) | July 23–25, 2026
- Atlanta, GA — Eagle’s Landing Country Club | August 15–16, 2026
- Bowie, MD — Enterprise Golf Course (SGT Tour Championship) | August 18–19, 2026
Each stop will feature competitive play, youth clinics, and culturally resonant activations that highlight Sapphire’s mission to blend sport, community, and legacy.
Among the athletes returning to the tour is Georgia Oboh, the 2025 Sapphire Tour Points Leader and newly qualified Ladies European Tour player. Oboh credits Sapphire as a pivotal force in her development. “Sapphire gave me the confidence, the competition, and the financial access to chase my dream,” Oboh said. “Without this tour, I wouldn’t have had the preparation or the resources to qualify for the Ladies European Tour. Sapphire is where belief becomes reality.”
As the tour continues to scale, Sapphire is actively seeking Title Sponsors, as well as local, regional, and national partners who share its commitment to equity, youth empowerment, and cultural advancement. Partnership opportunities span event activations, youth programming, hospitality experiences, and national visibility across the tour’s expanding footprint.
