Science&Motion (SAM), a leader in cutting-edge golf technology, is excited to announce partnerships with three internationally recognized coaches: Mark Officer (Australia), Rob Mouwen (Netherlands), and Eugene Marais (Vietnam). These new partnerships represent an expansion of SAM’s Ambassador team, reinforcing its commitment to knowledge, precision, and excellence in golf instruction. These coaches will champion SAM’s innovative technology in their respective regions and beyond.
Rob Mouwen
Rob Mouwen is a renowned putting specialist in Europe, known for his work with top Dutch Tour players such as Anne van Dam and Joost Luiten. His state-of-the-art Putt Academy in Heusden is one of the most advanced putting studios worldwide, featuring the latest SAM PuttStudio+ technology, including a comprehensive ball tracking and projection system and SAM PuttLab, the world’s leading putt analysis and putter fitting system, to provide both club and ball data.
“For me, SAM PuttStudio is the number 1 coaching tool. The new projection system, paired with skills drills, pushes my players to improve after each session. The combination of ball tracking and projection is a game-changer in putt coaching,” Mouwen remarked.
Mark Officer
Mark Officer, inventor of the Perfectstroke putting aid and ranked among Australia’s top 50 instructors by Golf Digest, has been helping golfers improve their games for over twenty years. His Golf24 facility on Queensland’s Gold Coast is equipped with the latest SAM PuttStudio+ and a Perfectstroke putting platform.
“The SAM PuttStudio has elevated both analysis and training. With the addition of a tilting platform, breaking putts are easier to assess, and the new sensor-free drills allow players to train unsupervised, which is a win for everyone. Our members love it, and their putting is significantly improving,” said Officer.
Eugene Marais
Eugene Marais brings over a decade of coaching experience, having worked with top talent around the globe. Over the past five years, he served as the Senior Instructor at The Els Performance Golf Academy in Vietnam, where he built the nation’s largest junior golf program. Now, as Director of Instruction at the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf, Eugene is heading the development of six new academies.
“Five years ago, I integrated SAM PuttLab into my teaching to enhance players’ understanding of the putting stroke. Its intuitive graphics simplify complex concepts, allowing students to refine their strokes independently. SAM’s portability also enables me to deliver professional instruction anywhere. It has become an invaluable tool in my coaching,” Marais said.
Christian Marquardt on the New Ambassadors
“We’re incredibly honored to welcome these outstanding teachers to the Science&Motion family. Each of them brings an exceptional track record of success, and we are excited to support them as they continue to shape the next generation of golfers using SAM technology,” said Christian Marquardt, Managing Director of Science&Motion.
Looking Ahead
Science&Motion is committed to expanding its ambassador team, with more top coaches expected to join in the coming months.
