We are pleased to announce SCPGA’s partnership with Dryvebox, an innovative mobile golf simulator company. Through this partnership, SCPGA member facilities receive exclusive rates for Dryvebox unit leases.
Dryvebox was founded in 2020 by Adeel Yang and Jake Hutt, PGA with the mission to “cultivate golf everywhere”. The Dryvebox Team believes that the holistic value golf offers shouldn’t be limited by what you have or where you are. To make that happen, they developed a proprietary configurable golf trailer that, from dense city streets to rural neighborhoods, gives people their first swings, develops golfers, and creates memorable experiences. Dryvebox is growing by partnering with PGA Professionals and facilities to launch boxes (through leasing and other methods) across the US. Since their start, Dryvebox has served tens of thousands of clients, been on course at numerous major events such as the Women’s US Open and President’s Cup, and expanded the world of golf. Dryvebox is backed by a notable group of investors including EP Golf Ventures, LLC which is a new investment partnership with Elysian Park Ventures and the PGA of America designed to support innovation in the golf industry.
Dryvebox units have 2 modes: (1) open-box event-mode, with externally facing multimedia displays and viewing deck, and (2) private mode with self-operating, climate-controlled learning environment, never compromised by poor weather conditions or lack of daylight. The box is solar powered and leverages a battery system that can be easily charged for daily usage, even on days with limited sunlight or longer operating hours.
Dryvebox offers golf courses and managers a novel avenue to generate additional revenue through expanded teaching availability, simulator rentals, and the marketing and selling of Dryvebox for events. For golf courses that may be missing a driving range, looking to expand their indoor or outdoor range capacity, dealing with seasonality or weather constraints, or contemplating adding a learning center but struggling to find space or get a permit, Dryvebox is a turnkey, cost-effective, and low-maintenance solution.
Dryvebox unit leasing packages vary based on the length of the lease and the client’s simulator technology needs. The Dryvebox unit comes ready to use. It includes a fully installed impact screen, turf, insulation and cushioning, expandable walls, projector, internal and external smart TVs, heating and cooling, solar rooftop panels, and a drop-down rear deck that can accommodate additional guests for events or golf clinics. Clients can learn how to use the system in a few hours.
