Southern California PGA Junior Tour Partners with CAMPUS to Expand College Golf Recruiting Opportunities

November 5, 2026

Partnership connects Southern California junior golfers with college coaches nationwide through advanced recruiting technology, player profiles, and educational resources.

SAN DIEGO – CAMPUS, the rapidly growing college golf recruiting platform, today announced a new partnership with the Southern California PGA Junior Tour (SCPGA Junior Tour), bringing modern recruiting technology and resources to one of the nation’s most established junior golf communities.

The partnership will provide SCPGA Junior Tour members and families with access to CAMPUS, helping aspiring college golfers showcase their accomplishments, discover college programs, and navigate the recruiting process with greater confidence.

Through CAMPUS, junior golfers can build comprehensive recruiting profiles featuring tournament results, golf statistics, academic information, swing and tournament videos, personal accomplishments, and other information college coaches consider when evaluating prospective student-athletes.

Players looking to take their recruiting journey further will also have access to CAMPUS+, which offers advanced college matching, recruiting insights, and additional tools designed to help student-athletes identify programs that fit their athletic abilities, academic goals, and personal preferences.

Connecting Southern California Junior Golfers with College Opportunities

Southern California has long been recognized as one of the country’s premier regions for competitive junior golf, producing talented players who go on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels.

Through its extensive tournament schedule and commitment to player development, the SCPGA Junior Tour provides young golfers with opportunities to compete, improve, and prepare for the next stage of their careers.

The partnership with CAMPUS builds on that foundation by helping players translate their tournament accomplishments into meaningful college recruiting opportunities.

“Southern California has one of the strongest junior golf communities in the country, and we’re excited to partner with an organization that has played such an important role in developing young players,” said Alex Weber, CEO of CAMPUS. “Our goal is to make the college recruiting process more accessible and transparent for every junior golfer. Through this partnership, SCPGA Junior Tour members will have access to technology that helps them understand where their game fits, discover programs they may not have considered, and connect with college coaches across the country.”

Greater Visibility for Junior Golfers

CAMPUS helps student-athletes establish a recruiting presence that goes beyond tournament leaderboards and rankings.

By bringing together tournament performance, academics, video, and personal information in one centralized profile, players can give college coaches a more complete understanding of who they are and what they could bring to a collegiate program.

The platform also helps families explore college golf opportunities across different divisions and competitive levels, making it easier to identify schools that align with each player’s abilities and aspirations.

“Having spent years working with junior golfers and their families, I know how overwhelming the college recruiting process can be,” said Chris Smeal, Co-Founder of CAMPUS. “There are so many talented players who simply don’t know where to start or which college programs might be the right fit. Partnering with the Southern California PGA Junior Tour gives us an opportunity to help more families navigate that process while giving college coaches another way to discover great players.”

“At the Southern California PGA, we’re committed to providing junior golfers with opportunities that extend well beyond tournament competition,” said Nikki Gatch, PGA, CEO & Executive Director of the Southern California PGA. “Our partnership with CAMPUS gives our junior tour members and their families access to valuable recruiting tools, educational resources, and greater visibility with college golf programs across the country. We’re excited to work together to help more young golfers pursue their goals of playing at the collegiate level.”

As part of the partnership, CAMPUS and the SCPGA Junior Tour will also work together to provide recruiting education and resources to help players and parents better understand the college golf landscape.

Supporting Players at Every Stage of Recruiting

Whether a player is just beginning to explore college golf, actively communicating with college coaches, or preparing to make a college commitment, CAMPUS provides tools designed to support each stage of the journey.

The platform’s college matching technology helps players identify programs that align with their golf performance, academics, and personal preferences, while player profiles and video features give coaches an efficient way to discover and evaluate prospective recruits.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment between CAMPUS and the SCPGA Junior Tour to provide junior golfers with opportunities that extend beyond tournament competition.

It also marks another milestone in CAMPUS’ expanding network of junior golf organizations, connecting players, families, and college programs through a more modern and accessible recruiting experience.
