Sunset Beach, NC – Sea Trail Golf Club is going through major renovations – some just completed — that will make it into one of the nation’s premier destination resorts for golf enthusiasts and visitors to the beaches of Brunswick County, NC.
Under the leadership of East Coast Golf Management, Sea Trail Golf Club is in the midst of some big renovations that will not hinder the play of golf in the upcoming Spring prime golf season.
“This is just the beginning,” East Coast Golf Management President Mike Buccerone told us. “And there is nothing like this in the market place.”
“We are thrilled to see the make-over and redevelopment that will unveil the new and improved Sea Trail Golf Club, which has been made possible through the vision and dedication of East Coast Golf Management,” said Sea Trail Director of Golf Jimmy Biggs.
“These renovations are a testament to our commitment to providing a world-class golf experience for our members and guests,” Biggs added.
Some of those renovations have been finished already including the Sea Trail Convention Center, which is ready now for conventions and business gatherings.
Along with those renovations, Sea Trail has added a new golf pro shop to keep the golf tee times rolling along while offering outstanding golf equipment and clothing.
Plus, the Convention Center now has the newly-opened 55 Bistro, a creative food and cocktail restaurant that caters to golfers and locals. And by early spring, 55 Bistro will be offering curbside take-out service for golfers who want to pick up their food and enjoy it in their condo.
If you’re looking for a stay and play, Sea Trail has added 27 new townhomes so golfers can relax, never leave the property, while having access to Sea Trail’s three outstanding golf and picturesque golf courses designed by three of golf’s top architects: Rees Jones; Willard Byrd; and Dan Maples.
The Jones/Byrd Clubhouse is undergoing a stunning make-over that should be completed by April offering new equipment and clothing.
Massive land clearing is happening that will lead to a new 150-room hotel right next to the Jones and Byrd courses.
Buccerone admitted, “We have so many more things that we cannot announce yet that will make Sea Trail an experience that will bring people from around the country back many times.”
