Selkirk Sport Unveils Exclusive Ryder Cup Collectors Paddle — The Luxx Control Air Invikta — A Limited Edition
Marvel for Pickleball Enthusiasts and Sports Collectors Alike

COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO – Selkirk Sport, the leading pickleball equipment manufacturer, is proud to announce the launch of the Luxx Control Air Ryder Cup Limited Collector’s Edition paddle.

Available now, this limited edition paddle is a tribute to the competitive spirit of the 2023 Ryder Cup, celebrated for more than 70 years as one of the most prestigious events in sports.

A Paddle Born from Prestige

Inspired by the thrilling encounters between teams from Europe and the U.S., Selkirk crafted the limited edition paddle at the behest of champion golfer and U.S. Ryder Cup Team Captain Zach Johnson.

Featuring the distinct 2023 Ryder Cup emblem and a custom red, white and blue colorway, the paddle was first gifted to the U.S. team members and vice captains as a symbol of the Ryder Cup’s camaraderie.

Following the excitement generated around the gifted paddles, Selkirk Sport will now offer a limited run of paddles to the general public, meant to serve both golf and pickleball enthusiasts worldwide.

“We are incredibly excited to bring the spirit of the Ryder Cup to the pickleball community with the Luxx Control Air Ryder Cup Limited Collector’s Edition,” said Mike Barnes, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Selkirk Sport. “This paddle is a celebration of the fellowship and fierce competition that the Ryder Cup symbolizes.”

Unrivaled Excellence in Design

The Luxx Control Air Ryder Cup Edition incorporates Selkirk’s cutting-edge Florek Carbon Fiber technology and the renowned 20mm X7 Thikset Honeycomb core. Just as carbon fiber can make golf clubs lighter and more responsive, the Florek Carbon Fiber technology in this paddle makes it exceptionally light for advanced maneuverability, yet strong enough to power through any game. The edgeless design delivers a large surface area and generous sweet spot to allow for more consistent contact with the ball, optimizing control and precision with every shot.

The Luxx Control Air Ryder Cup Limited Collector’s Edition is available for $270. This exclusive paddle is offered in the Invikta shape, known for its power and extended reach, enhancing the playing experience for tacticians of the sport.

Exclusive Offering

Reflecting the positive acclaim from the U.S. Ryder Cup Team, Selkirk will offer a limited run of the Luxx Control Air Ryder Cup Edition to the public, allowing fans to own a piece of pickleball — and golf — history.
