A Career Built on Feel
“For me, the grip has always been one of the most important things, making sure I feel comfortable with it,” Garcia said. “I’ve always been a feel player. When I’m playing my best, there aren’t many thoughts going on. I’m just seeing what I want to do and reacting.”
After testing JumboMax grips, Garcia found that the larger, counterbalanced designs allowed him to more easily access the feels and positions he relies on when playing his best, reinforcing the importance of playing a grip that truly fits.
“I was curious how it would feel at first,” Garcia said. “But it felt comfortable right away, and it helped me relax my grip pressure. That’s important for me because when I get too tight, I don’t swing as smoothly.”
