SIK Golf captures its tenth Tour victory at The Mayakoba Golf Classic
(PINELLAS PARK, FL) – SIK Golf, (S)TUDY (I)N (K)INEMATICS, captured its tenth PGA TOUR victory and fourth this year at the Mayakoba Golf Classic held at the El Camaleon Golf Club in Mexico this past weekend.
Using a SIK Pro C-Series putter, the winner drained a gutty par putt on the final hole for a one-stroke victory and his second straight PGA Tour title. He won the Bermuda Championship in his previous start just two weeks earlier. In doing so, he became the first player to win consecutive Tour events since Bryson DeChambeau, who was victorious in the first two events of the 2018 FedEx Cup Playoffs at The Northern Trust and Dell Technologies Championship. Ironically, DeChambeau captured all five of his PGA TOUR victories with a SIK Flo model putter in his bag.
The winner shot rounds of 63, 68, 65 and 68 to finish at 20 under par and ranked T-1st in Birdies, with 24, for the tournament. He is now ranked 1st on the FedEx Cup Points List.
“It’s incredible. I’m just overcome with emotion right now,” said the winner, who played his final four holes on Monday. “The whole final round was much more nerve-wracking than Bermuda.”

About SIK Golf’s Descending Loft Technology™
Descending Loft Technology™ is SIK Golf’s patented putter face technology. They have four flat surfaces that are milled into their putter face. Each plane descends in loft by 1° from the top of the face to the bottom of the face. When your shaft is pressed at impact the ball contact will be higher on the face, same is true in reverse. DLT delivers consistent launch angles from putt to putt which lead to more consistent and predictable rolls.
