Napa, Calif. – Entering the 2020-21 PGA TOUR Season as the first official event, this week’s Safeway Open at Silverado Resort and Spa will provide an exciting start to what promises to be an incredible season ahead. Nestled among rolling oak groves in world-renowned Napa Valley, Calif., Silverado Resort and Spa has unveiled an Unlimited Golf Package for guests to enjoy the resort’s 36-holes of championship golf after the tournament.
Silverado Resort and Spa’s Unlimited Golf Package allows golfers to save up to 20 percent on their accommodations and green fees, plus enjoy unlimited golf daily (Sunday – Thursday) per person on either the South Course or the North Course, home of the Safeway Open. In addition, Unlimited Golf Package guests will receive a Silverado logoed water bottle, a sleeve of golf balls and enjoy unlimited use of Silverado’s practice facility, range balls, and club storage service. Sunday departures also receive complimentary late check-out until 2 p.m. (based on availability).
“The overall experience at Silverado was exceptional, the resort and course conditions were outstanding at this Troon-affiliated destination,” said Team Troon Ambassador and PGA TOUR star Justin Thomas after last year’s Safeway Open. “We appreciated all of the hospitality; it was a great week at Silverado Resort and Spa.”
Silverado Resort and Spa is Napa Valley’s only 36-hole golf resort. The 7,166-yard, par 72 North Course annually hosts the Safeway Open, while the 6,612-yard, par 72 South Course is a favorite among members and resort guests. Both courses were re-designed by World Golf Hall of Fame member and former lead NBC golf analyst Johnny Miller. In 2019, the North Course was named to Golfweek’s Best 2019: Top 200 Resort Courses ranking. In addition to two 18-hole golf courses, Silverado features 340 guest rooms, a full service Spa, 10 tennis courts and 10 swimming pools, all in close proximity to Napa Valley’s 540-plus wineries.
“Following this week’s Safeway Open, we invite golf fans to experience this beautiful and historic property for themselves,” said resort owner Johnny Miller.
Silverado Resort and Spa can be experienced in many ways; including golf stay and play packages, golf groups of 12 or more players, through lessons and golf schools at the Johnny Miller Golf Academy or by becoming a member and joining the Silverado community.
