RIDGELAND, MS – SkyGolf®, maker of SkyCaddie®, the most-trusted rangefinders in golf, announces Adilson da Silva used his SkyCaddie GPS Tour Book on his way to victory at the OFX Irish Legends tournament at Seapoint Golf Links in County Louth, Ireland. Da Silva and the next seven finishers all used a SkyCaddie GPS during the tournament.
The victory was DaSilva’s sixth on the Legends Tour, and it propels him to third place in the 2024 Legends Tour MCB Road To Mauritius Order Of Merit behind England’s Peter Baker, a fellow SkyCaddie user, and Australia’s Scott Hend.
This is the third core Legends Tour event this season that has been won by a professional using SkyCaddie GPS yardages. In addition, an astonishing 19 of the current Top 25 on the Order Of Merit are SkyCaddie users.
“This sends a clear message to all competitive golfers – SkyCaddie GPS works!” said SkyCaddie’s Director of Sales & Operations EMEA, James Holmes.
“Without SkyCaddie’s ultra-accurate GPS yardages you are putting yourself at a disadvantage if you play for your club team, or compete as an individual at any level, or if you are a PGA Pro playing for money in official tournaments.
“SkyCaddie GPS is not like any other, and our maps don’t appear anywhere else. To create them, we survey every golf course on foot painstakingly, so you can trust the yardages. And the new generation of SkyCaddies, headed by the remarkable PRO 5X Tour Book GPS, are lightning-fast to give you instant carry or layup distances, in incredible detail, including a yardage exactly to today’s pin if SkyPins is in play at the event.
“Our features are designed specifically for avid golfers who think about every shot.”
Holmes continued: “Over 70% of Legends Tour players are now using SkyCaddie GPS by choice at every event, and so far this season those competitors are dominating the Order Of Merit.
“Using SkyCaddie’s ground-mapped yardages to plan your next shot, whether you use it solo or in conjunction with your laser, simply gives you a better chance of scoring well”, he concluded.
“The proof is right here, on the Legends Tour!”
SkyCaddie is the Official Distance Measurement Device of the Legends Tour.
