Shot Capture Enhancements
The new firmware improves capture rates for both chip and general shots by resolving issues where well-struck shots were misinterpreted as no-reads. Enhanced precision now delivers an impressive 99.5% shot capture rate.
Multi-Platform Rollout
SKYTRAK 5.3 fully extends version 5.2 features on macOS, iOS, and Android. Whether refining a swing in Course Play Practice or playing head-to-head Match Play mode, SKYTRAK 5.3 provides a seamless, and consistent experience across all major platforms.
Refined Gameplay & Realism:
- Course Play Practice: New graphics settings and refined green physics have been introduced, ensuring a more realistic and visually engaging practice environment.
- Updated Distance & Penalty Calculations: Distance units for chipping and pitching have been refreshed, and Lie Penalty values—along with the algorithms calculating club head speed—have been updated for improved accuracy.
- Chipping Re-Enabled: Chipping on the green is now re-enabled for shots with a launch angle above 10 degrees, with spin applied appropriately for optimal performance.
- Bug Fixes & Optimizations: Issues affecting wind direction in Course Play Practice, camera tracking in Putting Mode, shot plotting on mobile devices, and display inconsistencies (such as the “Max Height” metric) have been resolved. Additionally, the behavior of Lie Penalty adjustments when switching back to a standard range has been corrected.
