SLOPEGRAIDE BECOMES SPONSOR OF NEW AMATEUR PUTTING TOUR

June 9, 2022

Melbourne, FL – Slopegraide, the company that provides a comprehensive suite of green reading tools in their signature iPhone app, has partnered with the AMATEUR PUTTING TOUR to help provide a unique competitive putting tournament experience.

The AMATEUR PUTTING TOUR was created in 2021 and started out as a local league in the Virginia area. The mission of the Tour is to increase the accessibility and playability of golf with a unique platform to practice, compete, and advance through the skill of putting.

“We’re excited for this new partnership with the AMATEUR PUTTING TOUR,” said Jeff Mocini, the Founder and Creator of Slopegraide. “We believe this tour will create a new avenue of opportunity and a level playing field for many golfers, regardless of age and skill level.”

The AMATEUR PUTTING TOUR will host nine different qualifying tournaments from late June through September in Illinois, Virginia, Florida, Delaware, Oregon, North Carolina and Massachusetts to determine the 48 competitors advancing to the National Championship at Pinehurst’s Thistle Dhu Putting Course.

“Practicing with purpose is a key focus of the AMATEUR PUTTING TOUR. Providing the tools Slopegraide offers advances our competitors skills.” said Nick Guild, Founder of the AMATEUR PUTTING TOUR. “Improving how to read greens results in lower scores. Simple as that.”

Each putting tournament is a single-day stroke play event that consists of three rounds on a six-hole putting course that takes place on the practice green at each tournament site. Each hole is a par 2 that ranges from 6 feet to 38 feet and the top 5 lowest scores will advance to the National Championship.

Each qualifier also has a tournament purse that helps provide financial assistance with travel and lodging expenses at Pinehurst for qualifiers of the National Championship.
