Basel, Switzerland – Smart2Move, also known as “The Force Plates Company,” is excited to announce a significant update to its groundbreaking app, slated for release on May 6th, 2024. This update introduces an advanced visual representation of frontal plane rotational force (Tx), a critical component in the biomechanical analysis of human movement, especially in golf.
Introducing Frontal Plane Rotational Force visualization:
This latest software enhancement follows the recent introduction of our new Body Tracking System that includes a Center of Mass representation. The addition of frontal plane rotational force visualization in the Smart2Move app will provide users with an intricate understanding of the rotational forces exerted around an axis within the frontal plane, which divides the body into front and back halves. Understanding these forces is crucial for analyzing and optimizing movement patterns and sports performance, offering invaluable insights into side-to-side motions that are pivotal in activities like golf.
Webinar invitation – understanding movement:
To provide a deeper understanding of how these new features can revolutionize training and performance, Smart2Move will host a webinar Ground Reaction Force fundamentals in Golf on May 6th, 2024. Scheduled at 11:00 AM (EST) / 06:00 PM (CET), the webinar will feature experts such as Dr. Tyler Standifird, Jean-Paul Fernandez, and guest speaker Jon Eisman. They will explore the fundamentals of Ground Reaction Force and Center of Mass, explaining how these principles govern our ability to stay upright and in motion. Interested participants can register at Smart2Move Webinars (https://www.smart2move.com/webinars).
Ongoing development and future updates:
The release of this software update marks just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting year of technological advancements from Smart2Move. With the initial development phase introducing a 2D model with Center of Mass representation, the new addition of frontal plane rotational force graphics enhances the S2M App interface further. The Smart2Move development team is expanding, and users can look forward to additional updates throughout 2024, including multi-camera integration for 3D body tracking and simplified interaction with the S2M App.
