Softspikes Deliver Four Wins From Four PGA Tour Events To Open the Season

Brentwood, Tenn. – As the 2026 season gets underway, every PGA Tour event to date has been won by a player wearing Tour Flex Pro, reinforcing Softspikes’ position at the center of elite performance when tournaments are decided under pressure.

That momentum carried into another standout weekend, with victories recorded across the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, and Korn Ferry Tour, highlighting the continued role of replaceable spikes across the global professional game.

The headline performance came on the PGA Tour at the WM Phoenix Open, where the winner produced one of the most dramatic finishes of the season wearing Nike footwear fitted with Tour Flex Pro. A closing stretch that included five birdies over the final six holes forced a sudden-death playoff, which was settled with another birdie to secure a second victory in the opening weeks of the year. A final-round 64 and nine birdies on the day underlined the stability and traction required to perform on the Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale.

Adoption across the leaderboard reinforced the performance story. 34 of the top 40 finishers at TPC Scottsdale chose replaceable spikes over spikeless or tennis-style shoes, continuing a long-standing trend on the PGA Tour where grip and ground connection remain decisive factors late on Sunday.

Success continued on the DP World Tour at the Qatar Masters, where the winner trusted Under Armour footwear fitted with Tour Flex Pro using the S-Cleat system to secure a second victory in three weeks. Played at Doha Golf Club, the event demanded balance and precision throughout the week, with the winning performance finishing at 16-under par.

The Korn Ferry Tour added to the weekend’s success with another victory achieved in FootJoy footwear using Pulsar replaceable spikes, underlining the importance of proven traction across every level of professional golf.

“Four wins from four PGA Tour events is an incredible way to start the season,” said Joe Henderson, President of Softspikes. “It shows how much elite players value traction and stability under pressure. Tour Flex Pro has delivered every time it’s been tested, and that trust continues across the global tours.”

As the season gathers pace, consistent PGA Tour victories and continued success worldwide once again reinforce Softspikes’ position as a performance essential at the highest level of the game.

Tour players routinely change spikes based on course conditions, but many amateur golfers overlook traction’s impact on consistency and distance. For optimal performance, golfers should replace spikes every 15 rounds.
