BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Softspikes celebrated victories on the DP World Tour and LPGA Tour as the DP World India Championship winner moved to the top of the Race to Dubai standings and the Buick LPGA Shanghai champion claimed her second title of the season.
In New Delhi, the DP World India Championship winner secured a two-shot victory wearing FootJoy shoes fitted with Pulsar and ProStinger spikes. A closing two-under-par 70 took the Spaniard to 21 under for the tournament, delivering his third victory of the season and moving him into pole position in the Race to Dubai with three events remaining.
The champion had established a five-shot advantage with a superb nine-under-par 63 on Saturday. Two birdies in his opening three holes on Sunday strengthened his position before a series of crucial par saves helped him maintain control and complete another significant victory.
The result added to back-to-back wins at the KLM Open and Italian Open in June and marked his fourth DP World Tour title overall. It also continued his success on Indian soil, following his maiden victory at the 2025 Hero Indian Open.
At Sheshan Golf Club, the Buick LPGA Shanghai champion wore adidas shoes fitted with Thintech Max spikes as she secured a one-shot victory. A final-round 68 delivered an 11-under-par total of 277 and her second LPGA Tour title of 2026 in front of a home crowd.
“Both champions produced excellent performances to secure important victories as the season-long races approach their conclusion,” said Joe Henderson, President of Softspikes. “With so much at stake, players continue to trust their spikes to provide the traction and stability they need to perform under pressure.”
The weekend added two more titles to a year of outstanding tournament victories for players wearing Softspikes around the world.
Tour players routinely change spikes based on course conditions, but many amateur golfers overlook traction’s impact on consistency and distance. For optimal performance, golfers should replace spikes every 15 rounds.
