SPARK GOLF LAUNCHES ITS 2019 GOLF LEAGUE SEASON
Spark’s 2019 summer season launched with 11 league opening days across six cities
Orlando-based Spark Golf continues its rapid growth by expanding its 2019 golf league footprint. Spark kicked off its 2019 league effort last week with opening days for 11 leagues at 9 different golf courses. An additional 50+ summer leagues are scheduled to launch over the next 6 weeks as the days lengthen and temperatures rise across the country.
Following a successful 2018 launch in which Spark operated 23 leagues across 6 cities, the company is now focused on scaling in 2019 as it continues to bring people together to play golf. “At our current pace, we’ll launch 100+ leagues across 50 cities in 2019,” says Charlie Klaus, Co-Founder & CEO of Spark Golf. “The response to our mobile app driven, 9-hole recreational league concept has exceeded all of our expectations so far.”
Several fun-friendly public golf courses were part of Spark’s 2019 opening day week including, Brackenridge GC (San Antonio, TX), Candler Park GC (Atlanta, GA), Dubsdread GC (Orlando FL), Dunedin GC (Tampa Bay, FL), Jax Beach GC (Jacksonville, FL), North Shore GC (Orlando, FL), Orange County National (Orlando, FL), Palm-Aire CC (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) and Twin Rivers GC (Orlando, FL).
More than 4,000 people will play Spark Golf in 2019, making Spark the largest golf league community in the U.S.. Local and national sponsorships are also being finalized for the 2019 season.
