Spirit Golf Management, a Division of The Sports Facilities Companies, Oversees all Golf Operations at Westlake Golf and Country Club
Lambertville, N.J., — On the heels of assuming management of Westlake Golf and Country Club (Jackson, NJ), Spirit Golf Management, a division of The Sports Facilities Companies (SFC), has announced the appointment of New Jersey PGA Professional Justin Rohrig as Head Golf Professional.
Rohrig’s appointment marks an important milestone in Spirit Golf Management’s integration at Westlake, as the company builds on the momentum of its recent acquisition by SFC, which launched a dedicated Golf Division and broadened Spirit Golf’s national reach. In his new role, Rohrig, a highly regarded PGA of America Member, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility’s golf operation, including golf services, tournament programming, instruction and player development programs, merchandising and staff leadership.
“Justin brings a strong understanding of both club operations and the member experience, which is critical in a private club environment like Westlake,” said Mike Attara, President, Spirit Golf Management. “As we continue to build momentum following our transition this spring, his leadership will play an important role in elevating programming and member services to ensure the club is well positioned for sustainable growth and long-term success.”
Westlake Golf & Country Club is the centerpiece of an active and vibrant 55+ community that offers golf, tennis, swimming, bocce, special events and first-class dining. The club features an 18-hole, par-71 championship course designed by Arthur Hills, offering a 6,500-yard layout that includes multiple tee options for players of all skill levels and incorporates water on 16 holes.
Today, Spirit Golf Management oversees all golf operations at Westlake, including agronomy, sales & marketing, membership services, merchandising and player development programming. Spirit began transitioning operations at Westlake in February, implementing a comprehensive strategy to enhance the member experience, strengthen programming, and optimize operational performance. Since the transition, the club has seen early momentum, including growth in new members and expanded programming initiatives.
To officially tee off the 2026 golf season on March 15th, 100-year-old U.S. Army Veteran and the oldest living member at Westlake, Stan Dubroff, along with 93-year-old Natalie Bindler, a great-grandmother of three, who still plays golf regularly, hit the ceremonial tee shots. Dubroff and Bindler were joined by members of the club, staff, and local dignitaries.
