The speakers at the event will include a who’s who of golf swing physics experts, as well as professional golfers and elite golf instructors.
At 6:30 pm Sir Nick Faldo, Hall of Fame Golfer with 6 Majors & Over 40 Tour Wins, will begin the call by discussing how to get the most out of your golf game. At 7 pm Terry Hashimoto, the co-founder of BodiTrak, will discuss ground force and the golf swing. At 7:15 pm Phil Stotter, Director of Science at V1 Sports will discuss how the key to swing velocity, clubhead speed, and distance is biomechanical reaction through postural control. At 7:30 pm Robert Scales, PhD, a Fellow of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, will discuss his research on how health choices can help you gain more years to play golf and more years to play golf well.
At 7:45 pm Jim McLean, Elite Golf Instructor, will discuss how to get the most out of your golf game and “use the ground”. At 8 pm Robert Winskowicz, the founder of SQAIRZ, will discuss how golf footwear can either enhance or hurt your game and how SQAIRZ was designed to take advantage of the science surrounding ground force reaction. Finally, at 8:15 pm the entire panel will sit down to discuss where distance really comes from followed by a question and answer period with the attendees.
The webinar is intended to provide evidence-based content to clear up the confusion on how to gain distance from golf swing with experts in the fields of physical therapy, biomechanics and technology. Attendees will leave this webinar with a clearer understanding of the physics that creates great golf shots and ways to help improve their own distance and accuracy on the course.
