SQAIRZ was honored to make its Ryder Cup debut with winning Europe team member, and SQAIRZ Ambassador, Sepp Straka.
SQAIRZ designer Jon Bacon worked closely with Straka to create the custom SQAIRZ worn during play at the Ryder Cup. A variation of the SQAIRZ SPEED Bold model, Straka’s custom pair featured the European Union colors and circular star flag. This one-of-a-kind pair was produced specifically for Straka to wear during the Ryder Cup.

When asked about Team Europe’s victory, Sepp Straka responded, “This incredible team accomplishment was the perfect end to a big year for me. Having my SPEED Bold’s on my feet at the Ryder Cup gave me confidence on a difficult course with all kinds of terrain. It was incredible to play and compete with some of the biggest names in the game, and to help keep the trophy for Team Europe.”
