St. Johns Golf & Country Club to Undergo Clubhouse Renovation and Expansion
St. Johns Golf & Country Club – the well-respected Billy Casper Golf owned facility nestled in between Jacksonville and St. Augustine – will undergo an exciting clubhouse renovation and expansion, to be completed before the end of the year.
The $2.5M project includes the addition of a reception hall, grand event lawn, fire pit and social area, outdoor patio bar and deck overlooking the water. In addition, the existing restaurant and dining room will be completely renovated, and the kitchen expanded.
“We must keep learning and evolving to attract new members, all while instilling the faith our current members have in us,” says Ben Pasquith, general manager of St. Johns Golf & Country Club. “The renovation and expansion show we are serious about remaining a premier golf and special events destination in northeast Florida.”
The “Farmhouse Industrial” design ties nicely into the existing facilities at the club.
“Our goal is to transform the facility into a fun and exciting space that can be enjoyed by all,” says Michele Brown, principal & director of Micamy Design Studio. “The contemporary feel of the banquet hall and restaurant, combined with the open and fun event lawn and outdoor social spaces, makes it the perfect place to host a wedding, enjoy a dinner out, or relax after a round of golf.”
In November, St. Johns Golf & Country Club completed a $300,000 renovation of their bunkers and putting green and added a new short game practice facility, the largest overhaul in club history. Built in 2001, the golf course offers a first-class experience centered around Florida wetlands, lakes, and towering pine trees.

Billy Casper Golf is celebrating its 30th anniversary of full-service course management this year. Of the 21 BCG-managed courses in Florida, others in the Jacksonville area include Bent Creek Golf Course, Brentwood Golf Course and Fernandina Beach Golf Club.
