Operation 36 Launches #StartGolf Initiative to help with the entry to golf

Garner, NC—North Carolina-based golf player development program, Operation 36, announces the unveiling of #StartGolf.  This live online Golf “Prep Course” guides new golfers to become confident beginners.  The goal is to empower the participants to get comfortable enough to play their first 9 holes or join their local golf coaching programs.

“Golf is widely known as an intimidating sport to begin, and many are nervous to begin for fear of making an embarrassing mistake. So the team at Operation 36 wants to break down these barriers and make the entry into golf, a smooth, fun experience.  Everyone will walk away with a clear plan to know how to play the game and we will also connect them with their local Golf Professional,” says Ryan Dailey, Operation 36 Co-founder.

#StartGolf consists of 4 live online classes and digital resources for the participants. They are led by the nationally recognized coaches at Operation 36 headquarters who will not only provide education, but also concierge and mentorship services for participants as they begin the sport.  From answering on-going questions and booking their first tee time, to getting cost effective equipment, all participants will walk away confident the next time they are asked to go play golf or participate in a program.

“For the last 10 years we have obsessed over the introduction and progression of players in the sport. In our experience we are still seeing a large gap of those who are interested in learning to play golf, but are still too hesitant to take that first step.  #StartGolf is designed to fill this gap and be the best on-boarding experience to golf.  It is the introduction to the sport that beginners will decide if golf is “right” for them and we are taking it very seriously. In traditional programs beginners typically leave having never played 9 holes, have no clear plan and don’t feel good at the sport. We will use #StartGolf in conjunction with the Operation 36 Development Model to reshape that narrative, show golfers how to play 9 holes right away, and then give them a motivating plan to improve with their local golf professional,” says Matt Reagan, Operation 36 Co-founder.

#StartGolf is now enrolling for their first May Cohort of beginners!  For more information, or to enroll, go to: www.StartGolfToday.com

Even in these unprecedented times, Operation 36 is still committed to their mission of creating 1 Million Golfers over the next five years. #StartGolf is designed to be a channel to attract and connect beginners from all over the world to begin to play golf.
