SteelFiber Collects Five Top 10s on Three Tours

 

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, collected five Top 10s on three pro tours this weekend. Players on the Champions Tour, LPGA Tour and the Japan Golf Tour captured a second-place tie, two T4s, a T6 and a T9 finish.

Playing SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in his irons, the four-time PGA Tour champion now playing in his fourth year on the Champions Tour carded a second-place tie at the Shaw Charity Classic. In addition, the 1995 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year played SteelFiber i110 shafts in his irons and SteelFiber i125 shafts in his wedges for a T9 finish. On the LPGA Tour, the young Australian pro who was the Number One ranked amateur golfer in 2014 played SteelFiber i80 shafts in her irons and the 31-year-old pro from Pamplona, Spain, played SteelFiber i95 shafts in her wedges for T4 and T6 finishes, respectively, at the Portland Classic. Overseas, the Australian pro with 12 wins to his credit played SteelFiber i110 shafts in his irons and SteelFiber i125 shafts in his wedges for a T4 finish at the Fujisankei Classic on the Japan Golf Tour.
