SteelFiber Marks 100th Pro Win with CP Women’s Open Victory
SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, tallied their 100 professional victory this weekend with a win at the CP Women’s Open on the LPGA Tour. The victory marked the seventh win — including three majors — on the LPGA Tour this year.
Playing SteelFiber H-Tour 90 graphite shafts in her irons and J-Series shafts in her hybrids, the 20-year-old South Korean and 2018 LPGA Rookie of the Year finished strong, shooting her lowest score (64) in the final round. The champion is No. 1 in Race to the CME Globe, No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings and has already won the 2019 Rolex Annika Major Award. Currently, the SteelFiber h- and j-series shafts are exclusive to the Asian market.
In addition to the win, SteelFiber i110 graphite iron shafts also scored a T3 finish at the Boeing Classic on the Champions Tour.
