SteelFiber Scores Third Rolex Player of the Year Award in Four Years
SteelFiber shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, have landed the 2019 LPGA Rolex Player of the Year Award. It’s the third time in four years that golf’s No. 1 composite iron shaft has been in the bag of the award-winning player.
Playing SteelFiber h-series graphite shafts in her irons, the 24-year-old South Korean player won the 2019 Rolex Player of the Year with an already accumulated 241 points, a mark that was uncatchable even with three events remaining on the 2019 LPGA Tour schedule. She also earned the 2019 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award after winning the ANA Inspiration and The Evian Championship and finishing third at the AIG Women’s British Open.
