SteelFiber Shafts Win on Euro Senior Tour and Grab Top Money on LPGA
SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, delivered another winning weekend on the pro tours. SteelFiber won the WinstonGolf Senior Open in dramatic style and captured a share of the top money at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational.
Playing the new SteelFiber fc115 ‘Flight Control’ graphite iron shafts, the WinstonGolf Senior Open champion demonstrated an amazing come-from-behind win to claim his fifth European Senior Tour victory. He finished strong with a stunning final round of 63 to overcome a six-stroke deficit in the final round.
In addition to the win, SteelFiber grabbed a large share of the Top Three money, taking solo second-place and a T3 finish at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational. All four players in the two-person teams played SteelFiber graphite iron shafts. Both the second-place team, consisting of two Tour-winning sisters from Thailand, and the T3 finishing team of well-known Australian and South Korean pros played a mix of SteelFiber i80 and the new SteelFiber h-series graphite iron shafts.
