SteelFiber Shafts Land All the Top LPGA Honors

After SteelFiber shafts recently locked up the Rolex Annika Major Award, Rolex Player of the Year, LPGA Money Title, LEADERS Top 10 competition and Rookie of the Year, could it get better? Yes. This week, SteelFiber shafts added the final two remaining honors —the coveted Vare Trophy and its accompanying Race for the CME Globe $1 million prize.

Playing SteelFiber J-series graphite shafts in her irons, the 22-year-old Thai player rewrote the history books by collecting most of those honors. In addition, she set the record for the most birdies in a single season (470) and set a season record of 57 rounds in the 60s.

SteelFiber players accounted for large showing in the Race to the CME Globe Final Points. In the Top 15, SteelFiber shafts were in the bags of first-, fifth-, 12th-, 14th- and 15th-place players. SteelFiber shafts were also played by this year’s Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year.

“We congratulate all of these great players who are the top of LPGA Tour’s honors this year,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “SteelFiber shafts have proven themselves on professional tours around the world by providing unique and game-changing performance advantages. SteelFiber innovative technology delivers stability and increases distance, while at the same time reducing a player’s risk of injury, lessening aggravation of existing injuries and decreasing player fatigue. This year’s top honor winners on the LPGA Tour is strong proof that SteelFiber’s unique combination of benefits players to finish strong.”

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through innovative composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft’s graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.

Aerotech Golf shafts are available as custom options with many nationally celebrated golf club manufacturers such as PXG, Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, Ping, Cobra, Bridgestone Golf, Wilson, Cleveland Golf, Miura, Srixon, KZG and Nakashima Golf. Aerotech Golf shafts are also available through professional golf clubfitters around the world.
