SteelFiber Shafts Win at Wyndham
SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, grabbed top honors this weekend as well as a revered place in golf history. SteelFiber shafts won the Wyndham Championship on the PGA TOUR and carded a low score of 59.
Playing SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in his irons, the 2012 FedEx Cup champion joined an elite club, shooting a 59 during the first round at the Wyndham Championship. The 37-year-old pro from Nashville became only the ninth player in PGA Tour history to achieve a sub-60 score. His history-making scorecard showcased 10 birdies and a 176-yard eagle. The other members of the 59 Club include Justin Thomas (2017), Adam Hadwin (2017), Jim Furyk (2016 & 2013), Paul Goydos (2010), Stuart Appleby (2010), David Duval (1999), Chip Beck (1991) and Al Geiberger (1977).
