SteelFiber Wins Scottish Open As Easy As 1-2-3

SteelFiber graphite iron shafts, the No. 1 graphite iron shafts in golf, won the Ladies Scottish Open and the victory looked as easy as 1-2-3. Designed and manufactured by Aerotech Golf, SteelFiber shafts delivered first-place, second-place and a T3 at the Ladies Scottish Open on the LPGA Tour.

Playing SteelFiber J108 graphite shafts in her irons, the young pro who earned the 2016 Rolex Player of the Year Award, 2016 Race to the CME Globe title and the 2016 Money Title, finished strong with a low 66 in the fourth round to win the Ladies Scottish Open. The Ladies Scottish Open champion is currently No. 1 in the world per Rolex rankings, No. 1 in CME points, No. 1 on the LPGA money list, scoring avg. and Rolex Player of the Year points. In addition, the Australian pro, currently ranked No. 2 in Race to the CME, played SteelFiber i80 shafts in her irons for her solo second-place, and a young South Korean rookie captured a share of third-place playing J-Series shafts. Meanwhile on the PGA Tour, SteelFiber i95 shafts scored a T8 at the RBC Canadian Open.

“We offer our congratulations to the winner of the 2018 Ladies Scottish Open,” says Chris Hilleary, president of Aerotech Golf. “All three players shot their lowest score or were one stroke off their lowest score in the final round, and that’s what we mean when we say SteelFiber allows players to play their best for longer and finish strong. SteelFiber shafts deliver stability and increased distance but, unlike traditional steel shafts, the innovative SteelFiber technology also reduces the risk of injury, lessens aggravation of existing injuries and decreases player fatigue.”

SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through innovative composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft’s graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.

Aerotech Golf shafts are available as custom options with many nationally celebrated golf club manufacturers such as PXG, Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, Ping, Cobra, Bridgestone Golf, Wilson, Cleveland Golf, Miura, Srixon, KZG and Nakashima Golf. Aerotech Golf shafts are also available through professional golf clubfitters around the world. Aerotech Golf is a proud supporter of the Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals (AGCP) and the International Clubmakers Guild (ICG).
